Wood's Ice Cream - White Haven

I was passing through town on Sunday July 30, 2023 and I stopped by to give their ice cream a try. I purchased a small chocolate in a dish. It was delicious and satisfying. The ice cream started melting almost immediately. I don't know if that is a good or bad thing and it wasn't that hot outside that day. I'd stop by again if I was in the area.

I brought my fiancé to the Poconos for Father?s Day weekend and one night we decided to get ice cream. We wanted to go to a privately owned one for the experience so we picked Wood?s. It was awesome. I grew up having this ice cream being the best place to go to, however this season I have been unfortunately disappointed. The portions have been entirely inconsistent. When questioned about the sizing the workers do not care. If they scraped the bottom for what was left they do not care if it does not fill the portion, and do not ask if you would like something else. I ordered and was charged for a large mint chip in a cup and this is what I was given.

We love this place. Great ice cream. Now I want to order the ice cream cake.

Great place with so many flavors, options, and varieties. Fairly priced. Outdoor seating available.
