Captain D's - White House

Grubhub.? So it was an hour late. Cold, didn’t have the condiments I asked for. Actually none. The potato had no sour cream or butter I asked for. Funny thing is that I called the restaurant and asked them to please make sure my order was right and it wasn’t. Dry potato, no tartar sauce, no vinegar, no cocktail sauce. Paid over 60.00 and it was just terrible. Lady on phone told me they would make new if driver was late getting to the store. Terrible

We was in White House, Captain D’s it was very clean the young lady that took our order brought out our food order. Very kind… the food was good. Enjoyed stopping in we was passing through going to Springfield.Kid-friendliness: I had my grandson he is a picky eater… but he cleaned his plate so it was good.He had chicken fries a kids drink.

It had been a long time since I've eaten at Captain D's. Based on my latest experience, it'll be even longer before I go back!The service was really good nice workers, quickly served food but the taste of the food left me disappointed. Makes me wonder how long the shrimp had been in the freezer?! Leaving the establishment was an experience, too. The floor seemed oily or greasy, as I was able to slide across it.With a number of other places to eat in White House, I've probably seen the last of Captain D's. It's too bad for them because I love me some seafood!

64 degrees in seating was too cold and a waste of energy.

Excellent food. Owner and management made it a pleasant experience. Will come back soon
