I paid $19 for the Sunday pasta, and it didn't even include bread or soup/salad. I understand the impact of inflation, but this is a bit much. From now on, I'll stick with Highland House!
This is a very nice little place. The service was excellent. The food is on point. I had the piccata which was a little Bland until I squeezed some lemon on it. The calamari was cooked perfection. Got to say the portion was not very large. Squid is notexpensive. We had a nice bottle of wine for 30 bucks which I thought was reasonable. Everyone enjoyed their food. So I wouldhave to say that this is a very solid dining experience. I would not hesitate for a moment to go again. I was in the restaurantbusiness for many years as a younger person and know the difference.
When she finally approached our table, we mentioned that we had heard the argument and would prefer to be seated elsewhere. Although she moved us, she returned moments later to say, "They're making me take you guys," which made for an incredibly awkward situation. As for the food, we were quite disappointed with the entrees; the shrimp pesto was bland and cold, while the Cajun chicken risotto was watery. The only highlight of the meal was the black walnut old fashioned, which we truly enjoyed. Overall, we were so underwhelmed by the experience that we couldn't wait to leave. We chose not to speak with a manager, assuming that the server was simply following orders. In hindsight, we regretted not leaving earlier.
My wife and I have visited this restaurant twice, and we’ve enjoyed it every time. We're already planning to return many more times. Heather, the Bar Manager, is amazing, and our most recent server, Brittney, was excellent as well. On our first visit, we had pasta, and during our latest trip, we tried their pizza. I want to highlight that my wife has a gluten sensitivity, and she said the gluten-free shrimp pesto was the best she’s ever had, while their sweet potato pizza crust was outstanding! I highly recommend Stella's Table!
This was my first visit, and it came highly recommended by a friend, so I was eager to try it out—and it definitely lived up to the hype. While it wasn't overly crowded for a Saturday night, the service was excellent, and our food arrived at just the right pace. Our server, Matthew, offered some fantastic recommendations, and every dish was beautifully prepared. Even the desserts, though rich, were deliciously balanced and made from scratch. The atmosphere was inviting, making it a great place for families as well!
