The staff saw us walking up and immediately turned away to do her own thing, waited five minutes and she finally turned around to ask what we would like. She also had headphones in the whole time, and scooped as much ice as she could fit in the cup. Seemed very unprofessional. Avoid.
The food was terrible. My requests for add-ons were completely overlooked, as they usually are. They served me regular bread instead of the gluten-free option I ordered. It even looked like someone had taken a bite out of my toast! A few weeks ago, I ordered delivery and received the wrong order, and I never received any compensation for the price difference. Overall, a disappointing experience.
I don't usually write negative reviews, and I dislike doing so for Bluestone Lane, as I've had positive interactions with other employees there who are just as exceptional as their coffee. However, I've noticed that other reviews mention similar experiences with this particular individual, which raises questions about his suitability for a position in customer service. As a former customer service representative myself, I believe he is more of a liability to the company than an asset, and his behavior could potentially lead to serious issues down the line. Additionally, when I asked for his name, he refused to provide it and brushed me off with the comment, "Go write a review online." Ironically, that was probably the only thing he said during the encounter that made any sense.
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. The customer service was lacking, and the food was just average. The coffee was decent, but when I ordered it with vanilla, it came without any sweetener, which leads me to believe the vanilla syrup was omitted. I also ordered an egg and greens croissant without mayonnaise, but they still added chipotle mayo. I had to walk back from my hotel to get them to fix it since there’s no phone number to call the location. They did make me a new one and gave me complimentary avocado spread, which I appreciated, but it didn’t make up for the overall experience. The food was quite greasy, and I couldn’t finish it. My boyfriend had the loaded avocado toast and was also unimpressed. The blueberry muffin had a nice flavor, but it was dry—enjoyable, but you’ll need a drink to go with it. Overall, if you expect to be greeted warmly and have easy access to staff, the service here falls short. As for the food, I don’t think it’s worth the price given how appealing it sounds on the website versus what we experienced. Disappointing overall.
I don’t know what’s up with the guy with tattoos. He is always extremely rude and in a bad mood. Today he literally smashed my coffee down. What days is he off? I want to avoid to come get coffee for those days he is here.
