My hot sauce was forgotten despite my request for extra, leaving my plantains, yucca, and steak dry and lacking flavor.

We had a great experience the first time we dined at Makondo, with delicious and flavorful food. We both ordered the Bandeja Paisa on both occasions. However, our second visit was disappointing. The food had no flavor and lacked seasoning, especially in the beans which were bland and in need of salt. The Tostones were overcooked and burnt. When my husband called to speak to the manager, they were unavailable. We were very disappointed and will not be ordering from there again.

The food was delicious.
