I was expecting an authentic East Coast donair wrapped in pita bread, but it turned out to be more of a shawarma. If you enjoy shawarmas, this place may be for you, but it wasn't quite to my liking. I won't be returning and wouldn't recommend it.
I had a quick lunch at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was fast. I definitely plan on coming back for lunch again in the future.
This restaurant is my go-to spot for a quick lunch or dinner. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. It has a very authentic Middle Eastern vibe. My favorite dishes to order are either the combo platter or the plate with extra meat.
I wanted a donair. a traditional donair with sweeter sauce, gyro-meat and many sweet. what I got was a kind of bark that tasted like sawdust, with tahini sauce and a hauch of hummus. hardly any veggies. no feta. it was disgusting.
There are 101 places to get Middle Eastern food around MVRD, but this tiny spot just inside the White Rock town line really does it right. Clearly a mom'n'pop place, with a couple bistro tables half a dozen counter stools, a lot of their...traffic is to go but if you can, get there early enough to snag a table or counter spot. They take time to make their food and you are rewarded with genuinely fresh food best eaten right away to really get the full flavour! We had the falafal wraps excellent in every way. Best I've had in a while. definitely going back to sample some of their other options!
