Love their chicken chow mein dish.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options and they’re really accommodatingWheelchair accessibility: Restaurant is on street and ground level so easy to wheelchair in.
Great food but tiny portions. Our dinner for two consist of 11 pieces of pork in the SS pork, a barely over half full fried rice and roughly 9 pcs of
Paying this much for Chinese food usually means you pay for quality, but that 's not the case here. The sesame chicken was 100% their lemon chicken with sesame seeds sprinkled on and drowned in syrup. The beef was totally tasteless and mushy, the noodles were dry and the chicken in the soup had gone foul.If this were a cheap late night eat I 'd chalk it up to that but it is $18-22 per dish and so not worth near that.Maybe it was because we ordered near closing time, but really that 's not a reason to serve poor quality food.
The price is expensive, the portions are small, the portion of two dishes is barely equal to the portion of one dish in other restaurants, and the taste is average.
Definitely a hidden gem in White Rock! We ordered through Uber recently, the Shredded Pork and Eggplant with Chilli and garlic sauce is one of the best I have tried anywhere. We also had the Tofu with Seafood hot pot; this dish had a somewhat fusion element compared to traditional Chinese version; none the less was very well made and tasty. The food was not overly salty or oily which we appreciate in take out Asian foods. Will definitely order again and try dine in next time as I understand they have a more traditional menu for dine in customers!
