When I used to work at the popular restaurant next door, I was always intrigued by this hidden gem that shared the same building. I would often catch whiffs of the delicious curries being prepared and it finally enticed me to give it a try. The chef and his wife are incredibly kind and truly care about providing a top-notch dining experience. It's amusing how busy and trendy the restaurant I worked at was, yet the quality of food paled in comparison to the amazing dishes served here. I am a food enthusiast who values quality over ambiance or popularity, and this restaurant exceeds all expectations. We ordered a variety of dishes and each one was outstanding. Everything tasted freshly made and bursting with flavor. Both owners are delightful individuals who deserve all the praise they receive. This place is a hidden gem in Vancouver and worth the visit. While the White Rock strip is full of touristy eateries focused on style over substance, Sidarth offers authentic Indian cuisine that is a cut above the rest. The dessert options are divine, but I recommend trying a bit of everything on the menu. As someone from an Indian background, I can attest to the authenticity and quality of the food served here. The cozy dining room with a view of the sea adds to the charm of this place. While it may not be as popular as other spots in the area, that just speaks to its dedication to providing genuine and delicious dishes over flashy trends. If you love food, especially Indian cuisine, and appreciate the passion and skill that goes into cooking, you must visit Sidarth. This restaurant is a rare find that rivals even those in India. Trust me when I say, you won't regret making the trip to experience the best Indian food in Canada and possibly North America. This place is a true gem in White Rock and worth every bite. I may have moved away, but I can't wait to return for another unforgettable meal. Don't be fooled by the crowded and rowdy spots nearby, this is where you'll find a truly exceptional dining experience.
This restaurant has become one of my new favorite places. It is the best Indian food I have had in a long time. I tried their pakoras, samosas, curry, and saag dishes, all of which were delicious. The naan bread was also excellent. I have had curry in Edinburgh, London, and throughout British Columbia, but this place is as good as it gets. It is a small, cozy spot with friendly service. I highly recommend checking out this hidden gem.
Some of the best food a person can eat. Kachumber salad for days! The people that own this spot are chillers and great grillers. Get in here!
This restaurant is amazing. It's my favorite spot to dine, and my mother loves it as well. The food is outstanding and the service is top-notch.
Food was overpriced and the chicken biryani looked and tasted nothing like chicken biryani, did not even get yoghurt to go along with it.
