Eagle River Casino - Whitecourt

Food isn't anything to be proud of. When I wasn't choking on cigarette smoke I was gagging at the smell of raw sewage. The manager should be embarrassed of such a poor excuse for a casino.

The smell of cigarettes destroyed what otherwise was an average meal. Service was friendly and efficient. Prime rib ordered med rare, came med well. Wife's German sausage plate was good.9

I'm a poker player, so this casino is not for me. The food is pretty good though and they do have a decent amount of good bands coming in.

My son took his girlfriend for dinner for her birthday at the timbers bar and grill, there were dirty tables that had not been cleared. ordering drinks is a nightmare, they ordered there dinner, and waited. 15 minutes later, they ordered another round of drinks. they had to ask about the progress of their orders, two steaks baked potatoes and veggies. 28 dollars a plate. the food finally arrived, but no drinks. the plates were hot but the food was cold, very cold. veggies, steak, potatoes. you couldnt even melt butter into the baked potato. we had our meals boxed up after a couple bites and recieved our drinks we had ordered 45 mintutes ago with our bill. the flavour of the food was very tastefull, but the servers service was atrocious. we were offered 25% off to make up for our bad experience. oh and by the way. the tables were still not cleared by the time we had left, a total time of 1 hour and 45 minutes. 4 servers, 3 tables with people. if your going to charge outrageous prices for a meal, maybe add a little kiss in there before we get jipped. planned a two hour trip for a birthday dinner at a highly recommended restaurant, only to go home hungry, grumpy, and bland pallets.

Service is non-existent. prices are really high and food quality is terrible. Too bad because this used to be a good place to stop for cheap gas and good eats.
