The Farmhouse Inn Kitchen - WHITEFISH

I can’t speak to the hotel because we didn’t stay here, but let me just say that the food here is fantastic. My family ate a good variety of everything pastries, avocado toast, etc but I had the best bagel and lox I had on this trip back to the USA. I lived in Brooklyn for 17+ years, and this is a very good bagel. Highly recommended for folks staying in Whitefish.

You can't beat the location, and the inn has a charming atmosphere. We prefer boutique hotels over traditional bed and breakfasts, and the Farmhouse Inn offers a lovely mix of both. While we enjoyed our stay, it's important to note a few aspects that may not suit everyone: there is no lobby or on-site staff; you'll receive a code to access both exterior and interior doors; and daily housekeeping is not provided. In Room 2, there are a few hooks on the wall but no closet, so you'll want to pack in a way that allows you to live out of your suitcase or use the bench in the room for your clothes. Parking is free and conveniently located right behind the inn. The food at the restaurant is excellent! However, do keep in mind that the restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays, so make your plans accordingly. There are plenty of good breakfast options available in Whitefish.

My family and I made a special effort on two occasions to visit this charming little restaurant, but were left disappointed. Both times, it was during their advertised hours, and Google Maps indicated they were open. However, we found the door locked and the restaurant completely dark. We believe we would really enjoy this place if we could ever get in, but unfortunately, we won't be making the trip again.

This place looks good but it is not open yet. They said it will be a couple months and it is late September.

We stayed at the Inn for only one day and found it to be very conveniently located near downtown. The room had everything we needed except a switch to switch off the hallway light that was shining through the door when the room's lights were turned off.
