Captain Gummy's Fish And Chips

I had to get a quick feed after work one night and saw that this fish and chip shop was open. The fish I took home was very tasty. So was the seafood salad that I ordered with it. Wait times were accurate and I was glad they took my order just as they were closing up. A positive experience.

So I've never seen a fish and chip shop so busy, there were about nine or ten staff on this particular Friday night and customers in and out the whole time. We had made the trip to try the Hellenic Snack Pack. Firstly we found the service, despite them being clearly under the pump great and they were happy to customize orders. The food itself was really good and we'd go back if in the area.

I have had quite a few souvlaki's over my time- but I didn't think the one from here was worth the trip- I wasn't sure what the hype was all about - the meat I thought was average and didn't have much flavour and the garlic sauce tasted sweet. It certainly wasn't worth the money or the effort of driving there. I must say though at least the pita was good quality- I would I go back there again? No
