I've been thinking through this little restaurant many times, it looked a little down or not, but never in. Today a friend suggested we go and eat. I was very happy. The soup was... delicious with fresh vegetables handmade sommes and we didn't have to wait very long! I will enjoy this little hole in the wall restaurant again, probably next week!
My partner is vegetarian and encountered inflexibility when asking about vegetarian options at this restaurant. When he asked for a modification to a standard vegetarian menu item, the hostess was rude, dismissive, and showed no empathy towards his request. Both the hostess and another employee were extremely rude. The quality of the food was also subpar. Do not dine here if you are a vegan or vegetarian. The service was appalling.
We decided to try this restaurant based on the positive Google reviews. We were the only customers on a Saturday night. The decor and ambiance weren't ideal for a romantic date night, but we ordered the hot and sour soup, beef and green bean stir fry, and chicken chow mein. The prices were on the higher side, like most restaurants in Whitehorse, but the portion sizes were generous and could easily feed two people. Sharing multiple dishes would be a good value. Overall, we found this to be one of the better Chinese restaurants we've tried with great service.
