Food was amazingly good beautiful duck breast, and wonderful brussels sprouts and mashed potato. The flavour was out of this world. The only negative the meals were quite tiny. Main, one side of veges, a non alcoholic drink, no entre or dessert, one cup of tea came to $50, which was probably a bit much. However the food and ambience were so nice I'd definitely go back.
Great food, good friendly service, reasonable range of drink options, and a happy vibe. Well enjoyed and will be back. Lot of options covering food intolerances was also appreciated.
We enjoyed our first meal at The Firehouse. The ambience of the smaller side rooms is lovely and the setting is warm and intimate. The staff were excellent, both knowledgeable and friendly and the food was nicely presented. We eat out rarely, so we want a restaurant meal to be special. The Firehouse will see us return for another visit in the future.
The mains were brilliant and very enjoyable. The desserts were a little under rated. The starters were visually appealing.
So I asked for a GF FF and LF meal and they must have gotten it wrong cause my tummy has been in pain and the toilet destroyed multiple times. the wait on the meal was also over an hour. Very different from the first time I came. But it was delicious even though I'm now paying the price. I love the environment
