Tony's Pasta Seafood House - Whitehorse

We stopped here as part of a tour group, so there were a ton of people all at once. Even so, the service was fantastic and the food was served timely. I had the bison Bolognese, and it was great. Nice selection of wines, I always love a good Malbec. This seems like a family run business, because there were young people working as servers and seaters, and they were cute as kitten britches.

We were drawn to this restaurant even before tasting the food because of Sam's excellent personalized service. My husband, who is a picky eater, was impressed when he was served a specially made gnocchi with the most delicious sauce I have ever had! My bison stew was tender and flavorful, and my drink was also exceptional.

I worked at a Swiss restaurant in British Columbia over 20 years ago, and my favorite dish was the Spaghetti Carbonara. Since then, I have been unable to find a restaurant that serves a similar dish until now. This was my first time trying Tony's since moving here last year, and their Spaghetti Carbonara is the closest I have found to that original recipe. It will definitely be one of my favorite dishes here. Great job!
