Urban Zinc - Whitehorse

Why travel into Nothcote when we have places like on our back door. Great work to the staff who make this place worth coming everyday. Honest unobtrusive service. Well done!

Spent the weekend in Melbourne and took the family to Urban Zinc for breakfast The kids had pancakes while my wife had the poached eggs and I had Salmon Poached eggs Everybody was happy with the meals and service was excellent Would go back again

They did well in showcasing the original building, exposed red brick wall, an enjoyable space to ne around. Coffee and service is above average. How many more Cafes to come on this strecth?

I came for a snack late morning on a weekday. I was invited to be seated while they made my coffee and I was given a menu and a bottle of chilled water. My coffee arrived very quickly, accompanied by a small cake. To me this is great service. There was a wide variety of food available on the menu, but it was not cheap (the fruit toast was $8). I chose a home-made sausage roll, which was a touch bland, but the home-made tomato sauce saved it.

A friendly welcome continued throughout our visit and therefore created a great experience. Coffee was exactly as ordered… HOT! We find it difficult to get our coffee order as requested despite a clear and deliberate emphasis on “hot”. The range of breakfast options is good with original presentation.We would return for coffee anytime.
