The food is always excellent, and the service outstanding. You have to look for it but, it is a real hidden gem.
Bread and oil: 2/5 The bread and oil was pretty good but the problem with it is that it is limited to 2 baskets per family or table whichever is bigger. After the 2nd basket, it cost extra to get more bread. Also the bread was nothing crazy impressive; I could have made myself a similar if not better bread and oil. Sweet Tea: 2/5 Nice and short, the sweet tea was very light on the sweet part, but it was still drinkable. Salad: 4/5 There was a previous review that said thathat the salad is very dry and I can understand what they are getting at with how limited they give you of the dressings, but it's enough to enjoy the salad. It's also a pretty good portion. Baked Spaghetti: 5/5 This is where they really shine. The baked spaghetti was filled with meatballs, sausage, and mushrooms. My lord, the bowl flowethed over. It was great and very tasty, but it took a while for the food to cool down. That's what I get for getting something baked! If the rest of their entrees are as great as the baked spaghetti, then I can not wait to come back for round 2!
Tasteless food. Dry salad, and way too expensive for this low quality.
I ordered the fettuccine with shrimp white wine and basil. Unfortunately, it was not prepared properly. I informed the waitress that the meal did not meet my expectations. She apologized and informed me that she would let the manager know. Typically, they removed the meal from the table. Instead they left it there and asked if I wanted to try something else, I declined the offer. We then asked for the check. I reviewed the check and notice that they still charged me for the meal that was not to my satisfaction. The waitress just stood there as if it was ok to charge us for something that was pleasing to the taste. I look over at my spouse and aside she still charged us for the meal. She then asked, is there a problem? I replied yes, she then requested the manager's presence. The manager arrived and asked...you did not enjoy your meal? I paused and replied no. She asked what was wrong with it? I replied it the wine was a bit strong and the did not allow the wine to reduce. She interrupted, this I'd how it is prepared and that they use Chablis and I may not be familiar the that wine. That statement was a little offensive but I overlooked her ignorance in the matter. The empty parking lot explains it all!
