Came here because it was featured on ABC7 news, clearly the reporter does not know about #1 Tamales her words not mine I 've had better. Here is why I gave them 2 stars 1. The pork ones are beyond spicy 2. They are super dry, they need to add mole to the tamal. 3. The Dulce ones must of been from the night before they were super cold. So all in all, I won 't be going back, for the price ill just head over to Vargas Mexican Rest. in Pico Rivera.

I went to eat on a Sunday afternoon. It want that busy but it seem like all the workers were sitting down and eating too. It's abviously a family owned business with a heart of cooking good Mexican food. Out server was a teenager and he did a fine job. I orders huevos rancheros with rice and beans. The food was delishes. I hear the menudo is good but I didn't try it myself. I ordered the lime cucumber drink and they serve it in a humungous cup!! I love that. It tasted sooo good and refreshing. The place has only one bathroom that you have to share with men and women. Yikes!! I don't like that. I have to say it's quite messy or dirty in the kitchen. I understand they cook in there but you have to pass through to get to the bathroom. It seems like they are comfortable with the way things are such as dirty walls and lots of dust in the corners. It just takes a good cleaning and some paint to make it look new. I think they should paint inside and fix up this place and should change their reputation. The food tasted good and so did the drink. I will come again but I just hope they clean up the place.

The birria was way better than chalios it could be better though. I also had there menudo and it's is alright Juanita's can menudo got them beat tho I think the potential is there they just need to improve it a lil

They have the worst customer service ever. I placed an order through the phone, one of the ladies confirmed and told me it was going to be 5 minutes. I drove to the place and when I got there, the guy proceeded to tell me that it'll actually be 25 minutes because they ran out... and I asked why they didn't put my order aside and they didn't give me a good reason... another thing is they kept saying that they didn't get my order and the guy told me with attitude that they were busy... thanks for the start of a shitty day.
