With indoor outdoor seating, pinball machines live music, and of course in-house brews by Whittier brewing (they have wine too) you can indulge in some authentic vegan Mexican food from Cena Vegan. This is the only location where you can find the “Gigante” items, the burrito feeds anywhere from 6 to 8 people, their taco tray that comes with tons of tacos, and their giant nacho platter is the yacht of their taco boats. If you are a Vegan in Whittier, this is a must visit the, Whittier brewery food hall where you can find Cena Vegan.Happy Munchies@aVeganAndHer
Stopped here while visiting friends/family; awesome location in historic building that was once a bank. Beer was great, Pizza looked delicious, wish we would have stayed longer.
I came when they first opened and the beers were just ok. I returned today with friends and the beers were great. The IPAs were solid and the Lakers were also very well done.i wish I had come back sooner
My SIL and BIL had been telling us about the amazing BBQ at Pit and Bull so we finally made it to the Whittier Brewing Company to check it out. I'm a sucker for brisket, so I got the brisket sandwich DELISH and my hubby got the Pit Burger which had burnt ends. He really liked his burger, but I really think my brisket sandwich was better! The buns were toasted up real nice and real tasty! I got my sandwich with fries and my hubby got the beans as his side. I'm kind of a fry snob, and I just want to say that they nailed it with their fries. They had shoestring style fries that were cooked fresh to order and were served nice and hot! My hubby's beans were tasty and they had a little bit of a kick in them. They have lots of picnic tables in their dining area but they filled up real quick and once the place was full, it got really noisy! People were setting up for parties definitely a fun spot for a party!!!We also picked up some sweets from Providence Bakehouse I got the apricot danish, a guava croissant and a cinnamon roll. So far, we've only tried the apricot danish and it was really good we'll have the others later for dessert tonight.I just have to note that the building is a beautiful historic building which housed the first law office of President Richard Nixon. This was definitely a great spot to check out while in Whittier!!
Patio seating is great. Price on beer has gone up a few dollars, but still a good place to go with more food options.
