Bite Me Bbq - Wichita

I brought an out-of-town coworker here for dinner, and it was our first time dining at this restaurant. I ordered the rib dinner with beans and fries, and wow! I honestly thought they had served me dinosaur ribs—they were enormous! They were incredibly meaty and seasoned to perfection. Absolutely delicious! I will definitely be back!

The food was excellent, but the staff was a bit slow. It was a takeaway order, and it took them 5 minutes just to begin processing it. Overall, it's still a great place.

I visited Bite Me BBQ on a Saturday afternoon, and the sparse crowd should have been a red flag for what was to come, but I chose to overlook it. After browsing the menu, I decided to try the pulled pork nachos. For some reason, I found the way the dish was described unsettling; the first two ingredients listed were lettuce and tomatoes. I should have trusted my instincts. What I received was a plate of chips covered in an overwhelming amount of lettuce (I don’t even recall seeing any tomatoes), a small amount of pulled pork—honestly, it was barely there—and just a tablespoon of cheese. It was disappointing. On the bright side, the servers were incredibly friendly.

Smoked turkey was awesome but ribs weren't very good. Very fatty and had lots of grissle. Service was very good.

The **** Mary was a great bargain. The barbecue served with it was outstanding. I did order in-house made and battered chicken nuggets but the batter was extremely salty should have stuck with the barbecue.
