Chili's Grill - Wichita

I walked into the restaurant and sat at the bar. The bartender and server were speaking loudly, saying they didn't want to serve us and preferred to wait on a larger party for better tips. We had to ask the manager, who was wearing glasses, to send someone to take our order. When we tried to order the 3 meal deal special with our beer, the server said we couldn't because we had ordered too large of a beer. The server was rude, so we decided to leave. The manager with glasses was also rude.

This Chili?s was super disappointing. My grandma made a reservation for tonight at 6:30. When we arrived, the manager said ?we don?t take reservations so you?ll have to wait 25 minutes?. If they don?t take reservations, then why let someone send areservation request and why confirm it? Proof of the confirmation and Chili?s location below. Very poor management and very poorservice. The food at the restaurant was average. Unfortunately, both my husband and I had issues with our orders - he requested no onion and I asked for sauce on the side, but these requests were not followed. Despite this, we decided not to make a fuss and just accepted the mistake. The waiter was polite, however we are unsure if he entered our orders incorrectly or if it was a mistake made by the kitchen. Overall, I deducted one star from my review due to the errors with the onion and sauce.

Giving 2 stars for 2 reasons. I HATE their check payment method and their server did not make right by a mistake she made. You pay with a tablet and their system is so incredibly finicky, you waste all the time just trying to pay. They would save moneyand time by just letting servers do it. Our server forgot to input a meal we ordered. One person in our party of 3, couldn?t eata thing and our food got cold waiting, and she didn?t even do anything to make it right. Glad the food was good to somewhat makeup for an annoying meal experience.

This particular Chili's is your typical chain restaurant, but what sets it apart are the exceptionally friendly servers. I have visited with my wife or with my whole family, including three grandchildren, multiple times and each visit has been pleasant. The staff is great with children and very accommodating. While I typically don't give a 5-star rating to chain restaurants, this Chili's definitely deserves it.
