Felipe's Mexican - Wichita

This was my first time going to this Felipes. I have been to at least 3 others in the Wichita area. The food tasted like all the others and the prices were definitely reasonable. I enjoyed the scenery as it wasn't too bright and loud. The waiter was also really kind and took care of us.

I'll just say as pissed as I am about my experience tonight it will be best if I wait a day to give it a review and I've eaten here a hundred times.

*Update* Takeout service has been excellent for the past few years. Our order is always correct and the food is delicious! I highly recommend this Felipe's location. We will continue to order takeout once a month. I place a takeout order from this location about once a month because we have 2 small children who prefer to stay in. The last 2 times we ordered, my food was wrong. Last time, I added sour cream and guacamole and paid for it but didn't receive them. This evening, I ordered sopes and received tostadas and they forgot to include the beans and rice (I double checked the menu and both dishes- tostadas and sopes- come with beans and rice). I love this location because we don't have a lot of options this far west, but I won't be ordering from here again.

The food is always excellent. The employees are friendly. Great environment.

Celebrated a dear friends 85th birthday. The room was perfect for our group. Food was good. Waitress was nice and patient with 20 plus people. It was a success. The only thing I wish they hadn't done was put the 18% gratuity on each person's single ticket. I always tip 20% or more. Especially when the wait staff is attentive like tonight. I hope they didn't cheat her put of more tips. yes, I tipped her more
