Georges French Bistro - Wichita

We have dined at this restaurant multiple times and have always enjoyed the delicious food. However, on this occasion, my filet mignon was tough and not very appetizing. Normally, it is tender and a delight to eat. This was disappointing. On a positive note, the waitress provided excellent service and the appetizers and wine were as wonderful as ever.

Our server, Chris, was excellent and attentive. The food was served course-by-course, at the perfect temperature, and was absolutely delicious. It was the perfect place to celebrate my brother's birthday. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Overall, I had a wonderful experience at the restaurant as usual. However, one of the dishes we ordered, the Croque monsieur, was inedible. When the server noticed that the plate was untouched, they asked if my guest wanted it boxed, but he declined as he couldn't eat it. Instead, he ordered another sandwich, and we ended up paying for both. I believe the situation could have been handled more thoughtfully. Other than that, our server was excellent.

The best in town. The food is always excellent and the service is good. Equivalent to New York fine dining. Parking is problematic but there are spots nearby for a short walk. Pricey but for special occasions it's very special.

George's is always extremely busy so you'll need a reservation. The food is amazing. The only downside to George's it's noisy and crowded. Other than that, it's one of my favorite places to eat. Make sure to save room for the pavlova. Yum!
