New Lemongrass: Taste Of Vietnam

I drove over an hour to eat at this restaurant. When we arrived, the first waitress was very rude. They seated a group of people who arrived after us and left us waiting without reservation. Finally, we were seated but had to wait a long time for water and even longer for drinks. We had to ask for menus and place our order. Despite there being only 5 small tables in the restaurant, it took a while for our food to arrive. When it did, everyone in my party except for me received their meals promptly. After a long wait, my food still hadn't been prepared because they forgot to ring it in. By the time we got someone's attention, everyone else had finished eating. We arrived at 7:30pm and the restaurant closed at 10pm, so it wasn't even last-minute. The only positive was that they gave us a $2 discount. Overall, I was disappointed with the experience.

The food at this restaurant is really good when they get my order right, but I often find missing items when I order to go. I recommend double-checking your order before you leave. They have a great selection of vegan options, and the tofu dish is delicious. However, the sauce can sometimes be poorly made or missing altogether. The service is unpredictable, and it seems like the staff may be overworked or just indifferent. They also have a tendency to close early. As someone who works in the restaurant industry, I understand that mistakes happen, but it happens too often here and the early closures can be frustrating.

We were very disappointed with our meal at this restaurant. The pork in the dinner was extremely tough, and the rice was not jasmine rice as advertised. The meat in the pho was also very tough and nearly impossible to eat. Additionally, we ordered Vietnamese ice cream, but it was very small, mostly ice, and not worth the $5. We will not be returning.

Gina is the best waitress there is! always so attentive and eating is amazing what is a plus. chef back there white definitiw what he does! best fried rice in the city hills down?

Walked in and waited 10 minutes to even get helped to sit down even after she saw me standing there.Finally sat down and any questions that were asked were quickly dismissed.Okay, after eating, the food was actually pretty good. I think that the lady working has truly been overworked!!The drink I got also was good, orange gin mule. A+!Lastly, my husband is vegan, and the waitress didn’t seem to know what that was but kept saying “it’s veggie” ??‍However, it DID taste vegan! Haha!
