Uno Mas Fresh Mex - Wichita

Underwhelming. Tex Mex with no flavor, no salt, so no point eating flavorless food. Prices are ridiculous. Go to the north side of Wichita for a real taco. I grew up at 27th and Arkansas that is the side of town for the best, authentic tacos.

This place was pretty good when it first opened, ?was? being the key word. It?s just sad to see the condition of the interior, the ridiculously high prices, subpar food with no flavor and tiny portions. It was also hot inside like the A/C didn?t evenwork. I ordered the Cali Burrito which is now $12?. My son and fiancé ordered the Mac-N-Cheese burger. We got our drinks andsat down, 5-minutes later we were told they were out of Mac. Not sure why it took so long but okay?. You would think commonsense would prevail in this situation but unfortunately it didn?t. They both changed their orders for lesser items and weweren?t even offered a refund. I swear the burritos keeps getting smaller and smaller and they were a soggy mess. My fiancégot the bacon burger and it was underwhelming. She basically said it tasted like a knock off Braums burger for twice the price. Don?t waste your time on this place. There are more options than I can count on my fingers and toes that hands down make thisplace not worth it and with cheaper prices.

Been going here for a long time, the prices just keep climbing and climbing as well as the quality of the food used seems to be dropping. The lunch taco meal for example, was $8.99. It is now $12.99 for lower quality meat (The Carne Asada used to beamazing, it's now on par with Taco Bell for twice the price). The fries used to be crispy and delicious every time, now theytaste like they just went across the street to Dillions got a frozen bag and microwaved them. Hopefully* this was a one off butman I am disappointed. This place used to be so good!!

Food was comparable to Chipotle but the portions are smaller and the prices are higher. My wife ordered the burrito bowl $11), and I ordered the smothered burrito $12). My smothered burrito was served in chip basket and the soggy paper quickly had ahole in it. The basket didn't look clean and the experience was disgusting. There are plenty of better Mexican restaurants inthe area. I added a star because the taste was fine and nobody got sick. We went in April 2022.

It?s unfortunate that you would never know this restaurant is here unless you?ve been told about it. I heard about it from word of mouth, thankfully the mouthes that told me were on point. These are some of the best tacos I?ve had! Wonderful flavor,generous helpings, and great value.
