I have never felt the need to leave a review until now, but my visit to this restaurant was incredibly disappointing. The staff were impolite, showing no signs of friendliness or even making eye contact with customers. It felt like they were annoyed by simply taking our orders. As someone with experience in customer service, I have never seen such poor service. To make matters worse, the roll I ordered fell apart. It seemed like half of the staff were not prepared for their roles.
The food at the restaurant is delicious and the service from all the staff is great, with the exception of one server named David. He was extremely rude and had a negative effect on the overall dining experience. It was quite disappointing.
I am always puzzled by the consistently negative attitudes of the staff at this service station. It seems clear to me that this behavior must be a reflection of the management's approach, which is then passed down to the staff. During my recent visit, I encountered extremely rude and unhelpful staff. Despite it being busy, only one person was making sandwiches, another was adding salad, and one was at the till, leaving two other staff members standing around chatting instead of assisting. The food was average, as expected, but the poor attitude of the staff was a major deterrent for me. There is one particular staff member who has been there for years and has displayed the worst attitude I have ever encountered.
I would like to give a special thank you to Helen for her assistance yesterday. We needed a last-minute order for a neighbor's family after a recent loss, and Helen went above and beyond to help us. The family was very pleased with the sandwiches and they were all devoured. Thank you, Helen, for your kindness and support!
