The Alter Bach-Hengl is a very nice Traditional and pleasant Restaurant located in the nineteenth district of the city Vienna, offer traditional Viennese food and the great own Wein, county live music, in summer time you need booking before go there!! Today is famous, great...tourists visit.

Lovely courtyard outside with nice setting atmosphere, inside look traditional Austrian deco with woods furniture. this is more of a tourist restaurant the foods served (or we ordered) were very traditional mixed plate of smoked pork, roasted pork, grilled chicken (bit overcooked... dry), grilled sausages, potatoes sauerkraut. Very rich filling if you like all meats (salty too), but the home growth wines go down nicely with it. Staff were attentive friendly, price is reasonable worth a visit.

We sat in a pleasant courtyard adjacent to a wine bar. It's near the hop on hop off bus stop (and yes we went there both coming and going). Rather suburban and touristy butt a nice selection of local wine and a good afternoon

The rating is based on the food that was quite poor very fast food like and not worth the money I would rather have gone somewhere else
