Amador - Wien

I had a delightful evening trying a huge tasting menu. overall the creativity in each curs kudos was obvious for it. but I personally found the sauces a tad overwhelming on some of the dishes. the service was super friendly, but very fast...maybe slowed him a bit.

After being several times in a 1 2 Michelin Star restaurants here in Vienna), we both had high expectations of this one, the one and only 3 Michelin Star restaurant „a place that is worth a special journey“! However, it failed to fulfill...our hopes and expectations in terms of a service. And even though the food was reallllyyyyy delicious with a really top quality ingredients and amaaazing distinct flavors, I found something quite unpleasant in one of the dishes which wasn’t part of the dish for sure). Also, the service part made the whole experience quite disappointing: super busy/borderline hectic staff forgot to gave us the ordered wine but they tried to charge it at the end), forgot to bring the jacket from the cloakroom we had to ask twice) and didn’t offer to call a cab like they offered to the people who left before us). Well, yeah... that was our experience. : : : Not quite impressed.

Sehr sehr zu empfehlen. Das Menü konnten wir in einer pescetarier Variante erhalten, weil wir kein Fleisch essen. Die Soßen sind besonders hervorragend, sowie die Kombination der einzelnen Zutaten perfekt. Der Service war sehr höflich und authentisch. Ein perfekter Abend.

Schon beeindruckend was da an Kunstwerken aus der Küche kommt. Äußerst stimmig, perfekte Produkte, die auch in jedem kleinen Gang im Mittelpunkt stehen. Ganz großes Kino, lässiger Service, nicht zu hochgestochen... und obwohl die Gerichte sehr klein sind wird man tatsächlich sehr sehr satt.

Hervorragend. Das Menü war ein Traum. Jeder Gang war stimmig, sowohl geschmacklich als auch bei der Präsentation. Die Weinkarte ist außergewöhnlich und der Service zuvorkommend und freundlich.
