Despite the fact that it's not a terrible location, food wise it's quite good. It offers a rather wide classical Greek menu (quite unexpectedly wide, I'd say) and the prices are very decent also. So, if you are in the area and you are ready to trade the classical Wiener schnitzel, this Greek may be an interesting choice.
We went to this restaurant for dinner as it was not far from our hotel (Senator). We were very warmly welcome. They have "smoking" and "no smoking" halls, as it is usual in Austria, and both of them are very nicely decorated. We were the only visitors in the "no smoking" hall but the two waiters frequently and discreetly were checking if all was fine. Both of them were very friendly and helpful and the service was fast. We tried the Greek peasant salad and a plat of mixed warm and cold starters. They were marvellous and that was enough for my wife, but not for me and my 8 years old son! So, I had lamb skewers with vegetables (Souvlaki) and my son had gyros for kids. Both dishes were served with French fries, rice, Feta cheese, a little bit of mixed salad and tsatsiki (yoghurt with cucumbers and garlic). All the food tasted delicious and was plenty. When we were leaving, it was 21st of December, 2014, we were given a bottle of Greek wine each, which makes 2 bottles (for me and my wife). It was a very nice gesture, wasn't it?If I have the opportunity I will visit again "Alexis Sorbas"! Wow, my mouth started watering!
We had a meal here and loved it. The service was quick and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend it, especially the non-smoking room.
