Zum Kuchldragoner - Wien

The prices were reasonable for centre of Vienna and the waiter was polite. But the rest of it was terrible. We waited for an hour for relatively simple dishes and when they did arrive they tasted like microwaved leftovers and the souce was added as an after thought. The toilets were tiny even for me and I'm well under euoropean hights and smelled like urine extract. At the end of the meal I felt cheated. I love simple food, I even enjoy Macdonalds sometimes...but this was a well priced meal that really wasn't much to look at and tasted like regrat.

The staff are very nice but they did not tell us until we went to pay that they did not take credit cards (20 minute round trip for cash). Pork medallions were overcooked and dried out. Vegetables were like Edgells frozen mixed vegetables

As it concerne service and dishes not so bad as other reports here on...maybe a lucky strike or a lucky evening. Kitchen is like your granny does. Service kindly and the place warm ...but the bill was too much...

I have just enjoyed a wonderful meal at for the center of Vienna reasonably priced. I then enjoyed a couple of beers in the wonderful cobbled garden upstairs and outside looking onto a old but picturesque church. My experience was very good and I would recommend

If we are looking for a restaurant we usually always use trip advisor to get a hint. Same this time , but unfortunately the chosen place was closed , that's how we discovered this restaurant next to the oldest church in Vienna. We ordered and than i decided to check ---SHOCK was the result.I never have seem so many bad ratings since i use TripAdvisor and we were very much afraid that this exper6 will be a disaster.BUT :in fact the food was OK , nothing special but not bad either. We had seasonal mushroom stew and pork meat , probably could be done more tasty and with fresh appearance (they are using frozen parsley to decorate the plate) , but we were well feeder and got enough power to continue our walk. And please secure that you order a cold beer.Room for improvement but definitely better than average rating !
