Hindukusch - Wiesbaden

Superb service and meal at very good prices. Wife and I shared a small chicken salad and a bottle of cabernet wine. She had the curry and I had the mantu. They don't have desser but the milk tea was a nice lightly sweet touch to a great meal. Will definitely go back. Very small place so make reservations. No English menu but the staff speaks English perfectly.

Small, Afghani restaurant, near Taunusstr, good food, service spotty. Hmmm, a difficult call. Normally I will take serious stars away for two things: 1) WC not in order (not functioning) and 2) weak service. Hindukusch served up both of those. On the other hand there was only one guy working (presumably the owner). Guy was too busy talking on mobile to keep an eye on our table. Drink orders were forgotten, dishes stayed too long on table. This was a Sunday evening fairly early. But I still hesitate too give him a one or two star rating. The food was really, really good and priced OK. We'll probably be back at some point and hopefully they'll have their plumbing fixed and more staff available. Again, food was A-OK.

So this was my trip to Germany and probably my visit to this amazing restaurant. The flavours that they create in the kitchen are to die for. This would have to be my favourite restaurant in Wiesbaden and Germany for that matter. If...you want amazing food, for a very good price and a cozy atmosphere, make sure you stop by. I love this place!

This is a place for locals. We were exploring outside the tourist area and went into a dress store so my wife could buy a dress and the manager recommended this little restaurant and we were so glad that she did. The food is home...cooked and all natural and it seems as though everybody in the neighborhood knows the owners. I can’t say enough good things about this place. The name is miss leading. It’s actually an Afghan restaurant. We had a salad with chicken, chicken curry and a vegetable dish. The lady who seems to run the place is really sweet and nice and very warm. Although we don’t speak German she helped to translate the menu for us. We’ve eaten several restaurants during our trip and spent hundreds but this place was best and dishes was euro. Highly recommend

A compact corner for a warm hearty food. A lovely cozy place with super pleasant people and even more top of line tasty food. It's not luxury place but even better with a lovely experience. It's better to call upfront and reserve if you are...looking to go there during the weekend. If you are looking to try non German food , Hindukush is a casual evening's must !
