Our wedding party in the small circle took place in the most beautiful location in Wiesbaden. Rico has already hosted us with sparkling wine at the Biebricher Castle. It's quite spontaneous, because with the idea we came over for a short time. Thank you for that. In the magnificent garden of the gate house it was on the 8th. October no longer so warm, but still sunny enough for our wedding ceremony. The table for the delicious appetizer Sushi a la Rico was lovingly covered outside. 5 stars for these fancy creations. Then went into the living room to the table with various tables and chairs. We all felt comfortable. Rico's food fantastic... and a super brisquette. For the wedding dance, the table was shortened ruckzuck. For a small dance break there was the Kaiserschmarrn, very tasty. Here, too, Rico was very flexible, he prepares all food himself and has only two services. He does everything to make the guests feel comfortable. We felt very comfortable and received this feedback from all our guests. Thanks to Rico for our successful and unforgettable wedding party.

Dear Rico, a thousand thanks for your incredible culinary accompaniment of our special day! You have compiled us a vegetarian menu that even convinced the meat eaters: To all indecisions or even seekers: If you wish for a special day more than a hamlet, please contact Rico! Already after our first meeting we were thrilled by Rico’s unusual creations. We were able to explain any desired changes and suggestions with him at any time; also our small guests were included in his food planning. What, and in what quality, then came to the table was extra class! So also the opinions of our guests and that still during the meal: all the more remarkable that Rico was able to handle all this with only two other service staff. Besides the food, Rico also took care of everything else, e.g. decoration. For us the preparations could not have been more relaxed : And who have not yet convinced the numerous reports on food will catch the location at the latest. Rico has created an incredibly impressive place with the gatehouse and the middle of the city! In summer the whole garden flourished and the different corners could be explored between the corridors. We were at Easter break in the gatehouse and very satisfied. The location is unique, the host gives a lot of effort. The food was excellent and actually too much. Overall, it was a very special Easter brunch experience that we all will not forget!

Our free mourning took place in the gatehouse near Enrico. The location is magical as soon as the gates open one stands in an environment that you do not expect. Like an enchanted garden, very beautiful. Everything fits together and somehow it's not, as I said, magical. But the gate house would not be the same without its inconceivable charismatic and loving owners Enrico P. Dufner (and of course Jules). This man does not escape, does not let anything burn in the truest sense of the word and is in every situation we have experienced with him so far Lord of the situation. A very good host and artist in the kitchen. With him, I was allowed to eat the BEST Brisket of my life at the dinner of our wedding. He goes on as well as any desire and enchants you with works of art on plates that look like them. I don't find any almost matching adjectives that express what happens in the mouth and brain as soon as you have the first fork in your mouth. Stunning, first-class or just perfect words would come close. All in all: ABSOLUT DOWN RECOMMENDATION! The combination of Enrico, the palace and its art makes every opportunity there something very special. We celebrated our wedding here in a small circle. The planning was running smoothly and was pleasant. The rehearsal dinner was great. On our wedding day, the gate house and the garden were beautifully decorated. The service was outstanding all day. The cakes and the snacks in between were great, as was the selection of drinks. Everyone felt comfortable. Absolute highlight was the menu, especially the great meat! I can recommend the gatehouse to anyone who plans a festival, wants a nice evening or just wants to eat enormously well. DANKE!
