The fried egg on my partner’s escalope was equally satisfying. Prices are good. I would rate this ahead of the other traditional German restaurant in Wiesbaden, Weihenstephaner.
It has been some years since I lasted visited Wiesbaden and this restaurant, but it is still great. Booked online and had a quick reply, staff are as friendly as ever and assisted with English menus. Food was very good and the beer even better, would highly recommend for the atmosphere and service.
We did have dinner at this restaurant at the end of November and we are not happy. Appetizer ok garlic bread with tomatoes and mozzarella cheese, then spare ribs which were very dry and tasteless, we couldn't finish the food. Let's not come here again.
You don't have a gluten-free menu, but our server was very helpful to help us navigate the options. Many sauces we could not have, but the meals were excellent and were prepared gluten-free.
Through a friend from Wiesbaden the same comes from northern Germany. Very friendly helpful (North German does not know Ebbelwei and its differences not now) service, the food is very good and the old ruins make its rest for well-being. So I definitely come back at the next Wiesbaden visit.
