I called ahead to order some baguettes for lunch. They had a good selection of freshly made baguettes to choose from. I opted for a tuna mayo and a chicken tikka baguette. While they were a bit pricey, they were very tasty.
Some of the pies and pastries are not always hot or available throughout the day, and the prices have gone up significantly. As a result, I would recommend visiting this restaurant only occasionally.
Being a Wigan lad I would say that Galloways is my second best pie shop. I recommend using a tea spoon and bread buttler and wash it down with a cup a tea!
We've made the mistake of visiting the Beech Hill, and Platt bridge Galloways recently. Beech Hill burnt toast and then shrugged when you comment, my partner left the Platt bridge one as non-one served. If what you want is quality and service elsewhere
