Spice Essence - Wigan

We ordered 2 servings of chicken tikka korma with naan bread, which was more than enough for our family of 4. We all enjoyed it, the korma was deliciously creamy. I would definitely recommend it.

The food at this restaurant was terrible. The waiter, Samiwool, was rude and had a stutter. He spoke broken English and even occasionally spat in my drink. Another waiter, Robbywool, also struggled with English, so I had to use Google Translate to communicate with him when ordering. The food was undercooked and the drinks had foreign objects in them. The restaurant was also very messy. I highly recommend avoiding this place, as there is a risk of becoming ill.

This was our first visit to this restaurant, but it won't be our last. The food was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating, tailoring our curries to our liking and providing helpful recommendations. We found it to be a great value for the price. Highly recommended.

We had the set meal deal which is available Monday to Thursday 4.30pm 11pm which is £9.95 per person. To say this was a meal deal the food portions were generous food was tasty nans were nicely made. Disappointed that they do not do lassi would have complemented the meal
