The Olde Boathouse Inn - Wigan

Very nice midweek lunch. Three specials of breaded plaice and on of beef and onion rag pie. With starters and puddings it was a good place for a catch-up.

Called for lunch today. Staff absolutely lovely ,friendly and efficient. Food was served fresh and hot . Menu varied and reasonable. Hot chicken wings were delicious. Scampi tasty and crispy. Weather changeable but seating guards against the elements. Throws available if required. Can’t compliment this place enough. Obviously a good captain at the helm and staff to be proud of.

Just popped in for a brew and crispy bacon barm just what you need after a 20km bike ride covid friendly and safe

Just called in for takeaway, food is lovely as always and the staff are always very friendly, will definitely be back soon. Hopefully the lockdown doesn't last too long so we can dine in again!

Popped in for a takeaway brew and sausage barn on dog walk. Took five mins and lovely service. Spotted that they are also doing takeaway Sunday roasts too. Ordered. Picked up at 5 pm. Great value and great food. Making a real go of it under difficult Covid circumstances for businesses.
