Sammy's Italian - Wildwood

This restaurant has a fantastic reputation, and it truly lives up to it with the quality and consistency of all its menu items. On this visit, the 16” large pizza from Sammy's was an excellent choice. The prices are also incredible, especially compared to those on the West Coast where I’m from. Thank you, Sammy's!

The meat special pizza is my new favorite of all time and I have eaten pizza around but this was so fresh, so delicious. My wife loves their cauliflower pizza which is incredible that they go the extra mile for people who dont want too many carbs these day. Five stars all around!!

The pizza was served ice cold, but it did have a crispy crust and enjoyable flavor, which was a positive aspect. Unfortunately, my Tiramisu was forgotten, and the Chicken Marsala was both bland and cold. The Fried Calamari had decent flavor, but it was also served ice cold.

The meatballs were fantastic, but there wasn't enough sauce on the pasta. I would prefer a bit less pasta and a little more sauce. The bread could have been browned more. Overall, Sammy's is a great place to eat; I just think they were having an off day. I will definitely return and order again!
