A 34th anniversary meal deserves to be a memorable one, and MVD delivered! Just an excellent meal, with equally excellent service (Thanks, Steven! A cozy little dining room, where we never felt rushed, and absolutely felt appreciated. So many items to recommend, but clearly, they update the menu weekly (the empanadas are to die for! . I can't fault them for the ignorance of the young man at the next table who clearly never learned how to talk in a restaurant without using four-letter words. But that was not enough to ruin what was a phenomenal meal. Thank you, MVD!

Nice tapas restaurant and cool interior. Service was great. If you haven't been here yet, try it out. You won't be disappointed!

The service was fantastic! The cocktails were excellent, and the polenta appetizer was delightful.

This is a great place for a nice dinner. Tapas style food means you can try all of the things that you think look good on the menu. The service was excellent and the bartender made a brilliant mocktail to compliment the meal. Overall, just a superb dinner.

We went to MVD to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. It was just the two of us and we were excited to return to the restaurant after a great experience in May celebrating my husband's birthday with my in-laws. Unfortunately, our second visit was a bit disappointing. The dining space was nicely decorated, but seating was a bit close together. The menu changes weekly, but the empanadas were consistently delicious, especially the spinach and corn and bacon varieties. The small plates were good, but nothing stood out like on our first visit. The sliders were tasty but ordinary, and the fried Yuca had an interesting texture but tasted mostly of oil. The croquetas with potato and bacon were a tasty treat. However, the crab cakes, made with real lump crab, were disappointing as they were overly salty and crumbly. Dessert was a mixed bag - the lava cake was rich and delicious, but could have been warmer, while the peach crisp was underwhelming. The service was attentive and friendly, and we may give the restaurant another chance since the menu changes weekly. Parking is available next to the restaurant, and the restaurant may not be suitable for young children or picky eaters.
