Notis The Gyro King - Wilkes-Barre

I have never written a review for something in my life, but Notis is the best and only place where you should ever get a gyro in NEPA and maybe even PA as a whole. Set the best service, always super friendly, and the best food in the area. I can't beat. If you drive past Kmart every day and never stop at the stand, do the favor and move past. I heard from Notis the gyro king of friends who rave over how tall the gyros are at this property. I had to try one for myself. They were completely correct; the circles are better than the best I ever had! Notis' Gyros are cooked per order on a hot, fluffy Pita bread with a wealth of meat to perfection, with fresh vegetables and a special homemade cucumber sauce. I work in a local hospital not far from Route 309 where it is located. Whenever I'm in the mood for something hot, fast and delicious for dinner, I stop seeing Notis. He is friendly and you are always greeted with a smile. The service is excellent and the whole food is by far the best, better than any of the fast food restaurants in the area. I recommend this place to all!!

Absolutely the best gros and Greek salads I've ever had! Not only is the food amazing, the owner is also a big guy and very funny! If you live far from Wilkes-Barre, you should be careful if you try these because you will find the distance driving when you get the craving! He usually also has large baklava for sale!
