Pizza was good but waiting an hour and forty five minutes is not acceptable. Make sure you ask before you order.
Pizza is out of this world good. Order the sausage and kale dip… the bread it comes with is phenomenal. I typically can’t eat large portions and I ate the whole pizza is was so good, we got the Soppressata which is SPICY but delicious! The ranch is great too. My bf says it’s the best pizza he’s ever had. We were so impressed.
Hands down best pizza I’ve ever had in my life. Service, Atmosphere, food quality is unmatched. Do yourself a favor and try this place out.
I had been recommended this place through word of mouth. It went onto one of my lists and I bided my time until I was within close proximity to it. Flash forward to a year later and my group is finishing up a hike in the national park when I realize the time has come. The promise of a pizzeria that's so busy it runs out of dough captured everyone's attention. We were pretty hungry coming out of the woods. Everyone was immediately charmed by the interior and the price felt right $19 after tax for each pizza). The pizzas were all delicous and consumed with vigor. Now here's where my view on the Carlson Block gets Controversial: the pizzas took just over an hour to come out, BUT- I kind of liked that. While our party of 4 had been mingling all weekend, our wait here felt like the first time we all sat face to face and chatted. Real conversation, engagement-something we would've completely missed out on had the pizza come out instantly as we've all been so conditioned in the city to expect. Kudos to the Carlson Block not just for the tasy pies, but also for the grade A dining experience that I like to think) brought us all a little closer together.
