The Pancake Sensation - Willemstad

First of all, the service is fantastic. Friendly staff and fairly knowledgeable on allergens. The eggs and bacon were very good. The namesake, not so much. The GF pannenkoek has a lot to be desired. It’s basically just rice flour and water with maybe some guar gum. I only had a bite because I just couldn’t eat it. Also, they do warn celiacs that it is fried in the same pan as the regular ones and if sensitive not a good idea to order.

The service and food was excellent! I got the breakfast combo that comes with sausage, bacon, and eggs, along with a “basic”! I chose to do the gluten free traditional Dutch pancake, pannenkoeken. It was so good and cooked perfectly. No issues with gluten and they were well informed! Additionally the ice coffee was incredible! Will return if we come back to Curaçao!

Delicious gluten-free pancakes ate. As big pancakes as my not glu-food company and certainly filled well!

Heerlijke glutenvrije pannekoeken gegeten. Even grote pannekoek als mijn niet glutenvrij etend gezelschap en zeker goed vullend!
