Dog'n'suds Restaurant - Williams Lake

We were looking for a place to have breakfast on Sunday July 2nd. With the Stampede activities underway many locations were busy and in Williams Lake many restaurants are not open on Sundays. We went into this converted Car-hop drive-in and were pleasantly surprised by the food and the friendly waitresses. The décor is out of the 50's and early 60's and worth a look see even if you aren't super hungry.

I ordered a Denver Sandwich and my fiance ordered a Mushroom Burger. First off the Denver Sandwich consisted of big chunks of Ham with egg nothing else!Sorry but that's not a Denver!The Mushroom burger had more lettuce and tomato very little mushrooms and she couldn't taste the Hamburger. We were there the year before and sorry to say it wasn't any better. Just thought we would give it one more shot!Really to bad because of it being like the Original Dog and suds very Retro that is what drew us to the place. I think the Owners should take more heed to the Blogs and maybe clean up there act. All there doing is hurting there business! But hey maybe they don't care! Remember lose lips sink ships!!!

Wow welcome to the 60's. great diner, full of nostalgia good food, great service a family friendly restaurant

Service was always AWESOME, and the food took me back to my childhood and teen years. The staff were polite and professional and knowledgeable...... Justine made it EXTRA SPECIAL....making my son and I feel like VIP's. her beauty is only matched by her devotion to making your visit the most exceptional you have had.....this lady loves what she does and where she does it........ I hope one day she becomes the owner

If you're looking for a good breakfast this isn't the place to go. Everything had a slight chlorine taste to it and my eggs benny came out looking like leftover rejects. Single egg was poached very hard, potatoes were dry and the hollandaise was almost non existent and tasteless. Bacon even tastes like soggy paper. I love food and I honestly can't even eat this. Pretty disappointed. Been a couple times for burgers and they are thin, dry and plain. We will not be trying again.
