Restaurant was about 2/3 full and there were numerous employees actively working. We sat for 20 minutes and never had a server stop at the table, had no water glasses dropped off, or even have someone stop by to say hello. During this time the table right next to us had a server stop by at least twice and had food delivered. The table to our other side had the customers finish and leave at which time it was cleared, cleaned and reset. After 3 more minutes of inattention we chose to leave. We have dined at Mesa numerous times and have found it is not uncommon for the service to be slow, but today was terrible. The food and drinks are pretty good, the service not so much.
Went here on a Monday night for a couple drinks with a friend. We ordered a steak quesadilla and crispy cod tacos, which were both delicious (our compliments to the kitchen). Our coconut and guava margs were great as well. The server seemed busy, but this did not take away from her attentiveness towards our table, especially considering that we were seated outside. She was wonderful. We got to have two desserts: the fried ice cream and cheesecake. Both were perfect and definitely worth a try. Can’t wait to go back!
Great atmosphere, DJ was doing their thing, the food was pretty good overall. Jist a couple of misses like the juevos rancheros i ordered was a very dry interpretation of its original. My friend's dish was completely forgotten and eventually brought out, but instead, it was a duplicate of my order (not what he ordered). The restaurant made good with taking care of our meals, but it does detract from the evening a bit. There are a couple of great highlights. Get the guac (with chorizo) and what I believe is a pork quesadilla. Their homemade salsa was excellent! Other great options and cocktails as well.
Arrived around 4:00pm. Not very crowded. Waitress was very pleasant. Food took a long time to come out and when it did both my wife’s and my food were cold. We were so hungry that we ended up eating cold steak and Yucca fries. Spoke with manager and she did take 20% off bill. Bottom line is there are too many food options in downtown Easton and we will not be returning here anytime soon.
The steak quesadilla was delicious and satisfying. The tortilla was perfectly crisp on the outside, while inside, the steak was tender and well-seasoned. The blend of cheeses complemented the steak nicely, adding a creamy texture. It was served with fresh salsa and guacamole, which added a nice touch of freshness. Overall, a great choice if you're looking for a hearty and flavorful meal
