Shorty's Diner - Williamsburg

I walked in feeling hungry and left completely satisfied. It was hands down the best breakfast I've ever had. I ordered the sampler, and it was fantastic! The service was outstanding; we were seated within 30 seconds of arriving, and I had my coffee within 2 minutes. Our meals also arrived incredibly quickly. I found this place online and decided to give it a try, and I'm so glad I did. We'll definitely be coming back!

Food great. Wait staff great. Resturant clean. Did not use restroom.

The wait was brief, despite the Sunday morning rush. The portions of food were generous. It would have been helpful to know that the home fries are actually potatoes that are either undercooked or overcooked, mixed with onions and green peppers.

The hostess seated us at a dirty table, and when I brought it up, she claimed she had cleaned it, despite visible water marks left by the previous customers' glasses and their check still lying there. She was rude and appeared to discuss us with another employee, wearing a smug expression. After this experience, I no longer trust the food or the cleanliness of the restaurant. That employee should be let go. I wouldn't recommend dining here—if they lie about an obviously dirty table, just think about the kitchen. The management is lacking.

It's a great diner. It was my first time eating there. My wife and i had a great burgers and pie for dessert. Everything was great my wife loved the apple and I loved the key lime. We'll be back.
