They have just soft serve ice cream they make, although you can buy pints from Misty Meadows on-site. The soft serve was amazing. Having followed the trail most of the day, I just got a kiddie size of vanilla but it was the best soft serve I've ever had. I will definitely be back to try their sundaes and other specials. The peach parfait looked particularly tempting! The store also has quite a bit of handmade/local goods I was very tempted to buy!
Our 1st stop on the Washington Co. ice cream trailEnjoyed the raspberry and the strawberry/chocolate flavors
Fantastic place, worth the drive to get your dairy products fresh from the farm and from a longstanding family in the community. Highly recommend!
Their thing is farm fresh soft serve. I guess that's their thing. It's tucked away in a corner on the side with no noticeable signage. They also sell ice cream from the sister dairy but we weren't at the sister dairy. So, we got the soft serve. It was indeed soft! It was almost melted by the time we got to the bench on the pork where we ate it. It was milk soup within a few spoonfuls. The texture was grainy like any other soft serve. However, the vanilla did have a creamy, almost cheesy, aftertaste. The chocolate was chalky as chocolate ice cream often is.In addition the ice cream, the have some meats and charcuterie boards, which we didn't try.
We loved the heavy cream unfortunately the fat content has been off and can no longer make whipped cream using it.
