Saffron Grill - Williamsport

We had a wonderful meal at the Saffron Grill from appetizers to dessert everyone loved the dishes they chose. The flavors and presentation of each dish was top notch. Starting with the reservation and throughout the entire meal the service was attentive and gracious. We started with a reservation for 3 but another couple asked to join and the staff at the restaurant was able to accommodate us.

Our family wanted to go out for a very nice meal and try something new, and we were willing to drive for it. We found Saffron Grille on Yelp and decided to give it a try. The restaurant exceeded all our expectations. It was not busy, which was insane because it is incredibly delicious. Some of us have intense food allergies and dietary restrictions, some of us are very particular eaters, some of us have eaten everything at some of the best restaurants in the country, and each of us was completely satisfied. We brought a nice bottle of wine, we ordered several appetizers, salads, specials, and desserts, and everything was excellent, delightfully interesting, and memorable. I personally enjoyed the wine caper butter sauce with an infusion of marmalade that accompanied the bass with potatoes and green beans. It was sweet, savory, and tart in a completely disarming way. I also loved the light peppery ricotta spread that took the place of butter to accompany the table bread. Don't think twice: have a meal here immediately and often.

The chef is the best in the area and the waitress didn't miss a beat with our large group!

Absolutely incredible, great service superb food. We even got to meet the chef/owner who was such a delight. Very pleasant and modest and interesting to listen to. It's BYOB so get a group together and come create your atmosphere. Think about leaning into the Mediterranean lifestyle and coming in at 7:30 or 8:00 for a quieter restaurant. Easily the best food I've had in at least a year.

How does one not love this place?? The food is simply amazing. The scallops (appetizer) are probably the best in Williamsport. I am not sure how the chefs are able to do what they do but I am thrilled that they can! The entrees are outstanding as well!! I know of no other place in Lycoming county where you can get a whole fish. The food is flavored with amazing spices which to not hide the taste of the food but rather accents the dish in a way that no other local place can do. If you have not been there go!!!!
