Cook Out - WILLIAMSTON

For what it is, a fast food restaurant, Cook Out is the best! They have definitely raised their prices quite a bit over the past few years, but it's still a good value. I love that you can customize their milkshakes, although they're not really a milkshake, you really do need a spoon to eat them! Definitely try the Cajun chicken sandwich, it's absolutely delicious!

This place is ok they offer all the items a normal cook-out offers but they never have condiments to pair with their menu items. I particularly like the white cheddar bites and typically marinara sauce is paired with this item I can NEVER get ANY marinara sauce they are always out!!Kid-friendliness: Lots of items for kids and my kids love the Jr. Tray they get to pair items together and they love it.

Very friendly workers and they are quick about getting your food to you!

I’ve never had a bad experience with any other Cookouts except for this one in the Williamston NC location. Once I got to the window and paid for my food it took the employee about 10min or longer to give me my food and granted they weren’t that busy. And on top of that my nuggets and my onion rings were overly cooked to the max and I asked for two beef quesadillas and one of them turned out to be chicken which I didn’t ask for. This experience make me not ever want to eat there again honestly. And granted, I’m not even the type of person to complain about my food even if it’s wrong but this was just completed out of line. (September 3) about 1:40am. I’m assuming the employees were rushing to get off for the holiday. If they wouldn’t serve it to their mom with it looking how it was looking don’t try to serve it to me.

On August 25 27, 2023 my sister, PopPop and I were visiting from VA MD for my Highschool Class Reunion in Windsor, NC. We went to the Cook Out for Lunch. To our surprise the food was Extremely Delicious especially the French Fries. They were the bomb!!!!!
