The coffee was smooth and the staff was friendly and attentive. A special thank you to the staff for staying late on a Sunday to help us recover our lost phone long after closing time.
We stopped at this charming café for coffee and cake, and the entire experience was delightful. The staff were friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area to try it for yourself.
Yes this is a cafe/ restaurant but there are also two great cottages at the rear of the property. We stayed on a recent Saturday night and found Abbie to be a great host. The cottages are modern and comfortable, bigger than the average hotel room with largish lounge/ bed sitting area, small dining area , kitchenette, seperate toilet and bathroom. The cottages have a fromt and back verandah with table and chairs on both, although the back verandah faces nothing at present. The furniture is simple but comfortable and we spent a very nice , quiet night there. We ate breakfast in Sara's the next morning, the old church conversion is quaint and cosy and the food was excellent.
Relaxed friendly and welcoming and excellent service. Generous portions and very good too !! Not quite fine dining but several steps up from pub grub in a pleasant café environment. Decent sized menu large wine list and the house wine is very palatable. All in all a very good experience
Generous serves at this new cafe. Service was friendly, wine list quite extensive if you're happy to buy a bottle, and features a lot of local wines. Meals were yummy and reasonably priced. Venue is more relaxed in style than the previous one at this site and shows promise to be a regular favorite.
