Gelarto - Wilmington

Best ice cream spot Wilmington has to offer! Tons of vegan options. Anything I get is ALWAYS amazing! I love their apple gelato. Don’t waste any time with Boombalatti’s or Kilwins; Gelarto is always the way to go.

Ice cream is very good. Excellent textures and flavors. Good variety of flavors that you wouldn't necessarily see at other shops. Lovely quaint atmosphere.Two flaws at the establishment:1.the milkshakes are extremely watery in consistency, and need to be blended better.2. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. The employee who was behind the counter looked absolutely miserable. Was not helpful towards new customers, nor was he appropriately sociable to locals. Hopefully the employer can do something to make working there a more enjoyable experience, as that type of thing really does reflect on management more than anything.Overall, a nice place to go. Looking forward to trying more flavors.

Great Gelato and a great atmosphere. There was a small line but it was nice to eat gelato by the riverfront. It was one of my favorite experiences in Wilmington.

My families go to stop for dessert when walking around Wilmington. The variety is amazing and so far everything we have tasted has been fantastic!
