Mellow Mushroom Downtown - Wilmington

We ordered takeout, but my children went inside to use the restroom. Only 1 out of the 3 levels were clean enough to use. The facilities in the restaurant were great! This was my second visit to one of their locations. The staff was friendly. The food tasted great; the vegan pizza was the best I've had! However, later my oldest daughter and I experienced a terrible stomach ache. We hope it passes and is not related to the food, as we have plans to go out for dinner tonight. We ordered hummus and pita (large portions, but could have used more pita), a medium vegan pizza, a small regular pizza, a burger with fries, and 3 pretzels.

The pizza at this restaurant is delicious, especially if you ask for vegan cheese. They really put their heart into it. The exterior seating is dog-friendly.

Pizza here is good, ask for vegan they follow your heart cheese. Try really well. Dog-friendly outdoor seat
