Port City Chop House - Wilmington

The restaurant has closed down. There is no service, no dining available, and no notification was provided to customers with reservations.

During our Easter week stay, we faced some challenges with our reservation. Upon arrival, we found the doors closed with a sign indicating it was due to staff issues. It would have been helpful to receive notice about this in advance so we could make alternate plans. Fortunately, we were welcomed warmly at Portland Grille across the street.

Harbour Town Chophouse closed two days before my reservation, despite confirming my booking just a day prior. There seems to be a lack of communication between OpenTable and the restaurant.

Open table confirms my reservation. it was shown and closed for the datum night. note on the door. we received no cancellation period. very disappointed.

I love this restaurant and made this reservation assuming the same great past experiences however after confirming our reservation we arrive at the restaurant only to find a sign on the door saying they had closed a day prior due to staffing. I completely understand the difficulties restaurants are facing but at the very least inform open table and do not ask for a confirmation. On the day of the reservation when you are already closed. I will try again but was disappointed as we were celebrating a special event.
